Thursday we had such a wonderful time. It was the homecoming for Jason Castro. We were thrilled to be involved. My husband, Richard, was able to drive in the parade with my daughter, Beth. And my youngest, Olivia, and I were able to attend the reception afterward. It was a great celebration. I must say how impressed I am with Carol McMillan and Brandi Patterson with pulling all of this off. They are amazing. The most touching portion of the afternoon was when Wes Hamilton commissioned Jason. Tears filled my eyes as I thought of all that God has done and the prayers that He answered that day alone. We were exhausted when the evening was done. I can only imagine the exhaustion of those who were more intimately involved. To top off our day, my daughter made the news. She was pumped!! Superstar!!
